E3 2016: Xbox Confirm Project Scorpio

Xbox confirmed the rumored existence of Project Scorpio at E3 2016. Along with the Xbox One S, Xbox will be bringing another new console to the hardware space in 2017.

Made with developers wishes and hardcore fans in mind, Project Scorpio will have 8 Cores, 6 TeraFlops, 320GB/s memory bandwidth, a 4K/VR Gaming focus, and will be backwards and forward compatible.

With 4K and VR gaming being two major components of the future of gaming, Xbox Scorpio is built with the power required to fulfill that need. Games going forward will also be playable on all three consoles: Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox Scorpio.

With two consoles in development, one in 2016 and one in 2017, Microsoft isn't holding anything back going forward.
