What's Worth Buying from Xur (9-4-15)

This week Xur brings us some great armor with not so great stat rolls…. And remember kids The Taken King is right around the corner and some of this stuff isn’t going to year 2 but Helm of Saint 14 is!

Titan: Helmet: Helm of Saint-14 with 125 Intellect roll: Everyone’s favorite Defender Titan exotic is back and it’s a must have. With Prison of Elders out now the blinding bubble is more useful than ever! It’s very helpful in all boss fights and for taking control points in the Crucible. The 125 intellect roll is solid but not amazing and once again this is going to year 2 so if you don’t have it get it!! Highly recommended!

Hunter: Gauntlets: Khepri’s Sting with 91 strength roll: Here we have the new House of Wolves Exotic Gauntlets for the hunter. These are, in my opinion, the ugliest gauntlets ever conceived. They have a live beetle on the forearm. That’s right, a live beetle. WTF. They do have some cool interesting perks though, if you like to play golden gun you can now go invisible from crouching which is awesome. It also gives you 4x melee damage from behind while invisible. The stat roll of 91 is pretty crappy though and it is unknown if these are going to year 2.

Warlock: Helmet: Obsidian Mind with 60 Intellect, 55 Strength roll: If you like to play Void Walker these are a must have, and they have a really good intellect roll on them too. This exotic is all about keeping the Nova Bombs flowing and it’s amazing. The stat roll this go around isn’t too good but this helmet is also going to year 2 so if you don’t own it buy immediately!

Weapon: Patience and Time: Hey we have a weapon again. The P&T is a solid sniper with a cool go invisible while aiming down scope perk and its arc. It doesn’t look like this is going to year 2 but it might later so I’d still pick it up.
