Rory McIlroy PGA Tour Will Not Be An Annual Franchise

EA have announced that the upcoming PGA Tour game will not be an annual franchise like it had been in the past. Instead they are going to support the game via free content updates. This will come as pleasant news for people who are sick of their sports titles being churned out every year with minimal differences.

In other news, the game is confirmed to have only 8 official courses and 4 fantasy ones. This comes as a shock to regular golf fans as the previous PGA tour title shipped with 20 official ones. If you pre-order the game you will receive a 9th course, TPC Scottsdale.

As I said before, however, more content will be coming for free post launch, so hopefully this will be additional courses.

The roster of golfers has also been unveiled with a surprising omission of Tiger Woods. Find the full list of courses and golfers below
