Rise of the Tomb Raider Coming to PS4 and PC Next Year

There's some good news and some bad news. The good news is any doubt anyone had about Rise of the Tomb Raider being fully exclusive to Xbox can now be laid to rest as Square Enix have today announced the release date for the game on Playstation 4.

The bad news is that said release date. Playstation 4 users will have to wait until "Holiday 2016" to get their mitts on the highly anticipated sequel, a full year after Xbox platforms. What's worse for people still holding back on the new generation of consoles is that Square Enix only specified PS4. So, unlike Xbox users who can have it on either 360 or Xbox One, it looks like Playstation gamers are stuck with one option.

For anyone who doesn't have an Xbox system and can't wait a full year for their fill of Lara, you can get a copy of the game on Windows 10 and Steam in "Early 2016". It's still a bit of a wait but nowhere near as long as it is for the PS4 version of the game. Silver linings and all that!

Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 10th. Windows 10 and Steam in "Early 2016" and Playstation 4 in "Holiday 2016"
