August PlayStation Plus Games Revealed

Sony has today announced the August line up of free games for members of their premium membership. The following games will be free starting on August 4th.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Featuring stunning visuals and a brand-new story, players must work together to explore the temple, defeat hordes of enemies, solve devious puzzles, and avoid deadly traps. All the while, players will compete for treasure, powerful artifacts, and ultimate bragging rights.

Uncertain of his sister's fate, a boy enters LIMBO.

Stealth Inc 2 A Game Of Clones
Stealth Inc 2 is a puzzle platformer where you play the role of a clone escaping a sinister and high-tech testing facility.
Stealth Inc 2 tests both your brain and your reflexes over 60 varied levels linked together in a sprawling overworld.
Death is never more than a few moments away, but one of the few advantages of being a clone is that death isn’t all that permanent. With no loading screens and no lives to worry about, players are encouraged to use their inevitable demise as a learning tool as they navigate lasers, homicidal robots and terrifying bosses in the ultimate hostile work environment.
Explore the expansive PTi facility, including six distinct areas littered with tests to complete and secrets to collect.
Solve puzzles with help from six gadgets that are unlocked as you play, allowing you to do everything from teleporting across entire levels to hacking robots that patrol the facility.

Sound Shapes
Prepare to enjoy a unique, musical take on the classic side-scrolling platform game as Sound Shapes™ – the critically acclaimed PlayStation®Vita and PlayStation®3 hit – rolls on to PlayStation®4.
Roam through a series of beautiful levels, where sounds and shapes seamlessly mesh together to create an unforgettable gameplay experience. You can even design your own levels by building environments and choosing enemies and obstacles – composing your own stunning music tracks at the same time.

Castlestorm Complete Edition
Welcome to the world of CastleStorm, a super genre mashup of 2D physics destruction mashed with tower defense brawler! CastleStorm was born out of the fond childhood memory of building and destroy Lego castles.
The clouds bring rumors of war…It’s Knights vs. Vikings in CastleStorm, where medieval warfare meets 2D physics-based destruction! Controlling the battle in real time, players will harness the power of medieval artillery, manage a fearsome ground attack, and cast powerful spells! CastleStorm features a story-driven solo campaign, a custom castle editor, online multiplayer, co-op modes, and more. Building castles and knocking them down has never been so much fun!
CastleStorm Complete includes the original campaign and 2 additional expansions: From Outcast to Savior and The Warrior Queen.

God of War Ascension
The legend of Kratos is born in this prequel to the best-selling God of War® series. Discover the darkest days of the mortal Spartan warrior, as he is cruelly betrayed by the gods of Olympus and begins his epic journey for revenge.
God of War: Ascension™ combines the series’ signature blend of storytelling, combat, exploration and puzzle-solving with a variety of new gameplay features, including the ability to shape, shift and wield time.
Online combat also makes its highly anticipated debut. Swear your allegiance to Zeus, Ares, Poseidon or Hades and become a champion in a variety of individual and team-based multiplayer experiences for up to 8 warriors.

So there you go. A solid offering from Sony this month after a somewhat lacklustre July. Personally I would recommend Stealth Inc 2, I loved that game a lot and even wrote a full trophy guide for it HERE. Limbo is also critically acclaimed and who doesn't love a bit more Lara? What do you guys think? Playing any of what's on offer before the flood of games this fall?
